| The purpose of The
Wildlife Institute of Eastern New York is to increase appreciation
of the natural world through education. Our staff is dedicated to
providing riveting live-animal presentations to groups of all ages
and backgrounds. We foster environmental stewardship by introducing
people to the wonders that surround them, creatures that often live
right in their own backyards!
All programs of The Wildlife
Institute of Eastern New York feature live birds of prey, parrots,
reptiles, amphibians, and/or creepy crawlies.
Executive Director, Beth Bidwell,
brings a Bachelors Degree in biology, coursework in education, and
over
twelve years of experience in environmental education and ecology to
her informative and often humorous presentations. In 2003, Beth
delivered 350 programs to over 20,000 people!
